(By the way I hate Mondays on Tuesdays).
Two other volunteers showed up. After Second Grade came in I filled away the books they checked in.
I strolled around looking for miss-placed books, Red or Blue in the Yellow/Orange/Purple zone, and Yellow, Orange, or Purple in the Red/Blue zone.
Departed at 8:48am. Might return after 11 if it gets busy and someone calls me.

They are looking into creating a new Category for that.

It's Spirit Day!
But there is no game tonight.
It's Open week.

Participated in the Fire Drill Practice with out alarms.
We walked on the parking lot road way where the fire trucks would enter.
Kindergarten had no books to turn in.
I had the returned book cart empty so I left early.
It's the weekend. We have a Boy turning 10.
The household will all be double digit age.

I also got a better understanding of how Exploratory works this year.
I am looking forward to the Book Fair at the end of September.

Three Days In
School has been in session for Three Days as of Today.
Earlier this week we had Open House.
It was my last Open House for Elementary School.
On the First Day of School I went and helped out with the First Day PTO School Packet assembly and distribution.
Then I helped out with the Front Office, Highlighting Student Record that needed to be checked by parent for accuracy and returned.
Today is the TAX FREE day for GA.
I'm headed out to get a stack of loose leaf three ring binder wide ruled notebook paper.
